Level 3 credit card processing requires a great extent of data for performing transactions with government or corporate sectors. If you would like to enable level 3 options for your site, please contact Elavon Software Technical Support.

**Requirements**

If you want to use Level III in Converge, the following requirements must be met:.
- Level IIII is enabled. Verify by calling :magic-link[/VirtualMerchantDemo/accountxml.do]{id="api-reference#tag/Terminal-Management"} with transaction type `terminalsetup`. 
- Region set to USA or Canada.
- Market segment set to Internet.

## Supported transaction types

Level 3 options are available for the following transaction types:

- `ccsale` (Credit card sale)
- `ccauthonly` (Credit card auth only)
