## R51.1 - November 10, 2022 

### HR2081BT scanner 
A new product has been added, **HR2081BT Scanner**. It is the new default scanner for talech Register packages for both retail and restaurant industries.


## R51 - October 25, 2022

### Improved error messaging 
Error messages for the `getterminalids` operation is now more specific.

- When the Merchant identification (MID) and `uniqueId` supplied do not match, then the error text, "MID and uniqueId are mismatched" appears.
 
- The error text, "No Data Available" appears under two conditions: 
 1. When only the MID is supplied and no Terminal identification (TID) is available.
 2. When the MID and `uniquieID` are supplied and match, but not TID is available. 

### 3D Secure VAS is now called "3DS2.X"
The value added service (VAS) formerly known as "3D Secure VAS" is now called **3DS2.X**. The name change is reflected in the UI and application PDF. 

### Date/time format fixed in signature area
A change has been made so that the date and time has been formatted correctly in the signature area of the PDF document.

For U.S. Direct Bill, the product, **Desk 3500 with WiFi** has been added and has a related peripheral, Desk 1500.


## R50 - July 26, 2022

### DBA added to application notification email 
Email notification that is sent to the applicant after applying now has an updated subject line that includes the DBA: "Your application for <DBA Name> Has Been Accepted." This only applies to Guided Flow.

### Business website URL requirement 
For North American jurisdictions, the Business Website URL is now required when any internet card acceptance (Internet or Omni Commerce) has been indicated. 

### New ownership attributes for Converge New Generation 
Converge New Generation (CNVNG) has two new Ownership attributes: Purchase and Own (Existing).

### Product changes
**Talech Barcode Scanner USB 2-D Zebra renamed** - The equipment, "Talech Barcode Scanner USB 2-D Zebra (DS8178)" has been renamed "talech Zebra 2D USB Barcode Scanner (TLBS2)." The item code hasn't changed; only the product name has been updated.

**Talech Cash Drawer renamed** - The equipment, "Talech Cash Drawer" has been renamed "talech 16x16 Cash Drawer (TALCD)." The item code hasn't changed; only the product name has been updated.

**Talech Wired Kitchen Printer renamed, rental option added** - The equipment, "Talech Wired Kitchen Printer" has been renamed "talech Star Micronics SP700 Wired Kitchen Printer (TALKP)" and can now be rented by selecting "rental" in the Ownership field. The item code hasn't changed; only the product name has been updated.

**Star TSP654 Printer renamed, rental option added** - The equipment, "Star TSP654 Printer" has been renamed "Star TSP654 USB Printer," and can now be rented by selecting "rental" in the Ownership field.

**Star 143 Printer for Rent** - The equipment, "Star 143 Printer" can now be rented by selecting "rental" in the Ownership field.

### Canadian product change: Bell Micro SIM replaced by Bell Nano SIM 
For Canadian users, the "Bell Micro 250 MB SIM Card" has been replaced by the "Bell Nano 250 MB SIM Card (item code: B250S)."

### Applicants can no longer submit/sign an application twice 
An issue has been fixed so that applicants can no longer sign and submit the same application twice.

### C4 is now Credit Card Surcharge 
"C4" has been renamed "Credit Card Surcharge" wherever the pricing plan name appears.

### talech Bosstab Stand
A new product called "talech Bosstab Universal Tablet Stand (TLBSI)" is now available for talech Starter (TC001), talech Standard (TC003), and talech Premium (TC007).

### New field: Anticipated Start Date 
There is a new mandatory field called `anticipatedStartDate` that needs to be included for products: talech Starter, talech Standard, and talech Premium.


## R49 - April 26, 2022

### talech enhancements

1. **New talech Register packages** - When talech Premium, talech Standard, or talech Starter is selected, then two new packages become available: **talech Register for Restaurant** and **talech Register for Retail**. Once a package is selected, then all related products are also selected. Each item is rented according to the terms of the package and pricing cannot be modified.

2. **Poynt C** - A new product called **Poynt C** has been added to the POS and ePOS tabs in the eBoarding sales UI. The product will be hidden until later this year when it is ready to launch.
 - Locking Functionality Changed - The locking functionality for talech products has been corrected on the ePOS tab, so that all compatible products and services are available when applicable.
 - Support Service Field No Longer Displayed - Under talech Service Options, the **Support Service** field is no longer displayed.
 - Renaming: "talech Getting Started" is Now "talech Assisted Set-Up" - The talech service option, "talech Getting Started" has been renamed **talech Assisted Set-Up**. This option can be found under talech Service Options in the Remote Install and Training field. The fee for this field defaults to the jurisdiction's respective price guide.

### Default URL for No Internet Card Acceptance
For talech and Converge, the **Business Website URL** field is now defaulted in order to support billing and invoicing capabilities when there is no internet card acceptance.

### Terminal ID removed from Omnicommerce 
When Card Acceptance Split is **Omni Commerce**, then the "Terminal ID Type" field is no longer displayed and the **`IndustryCode`** field does not get sent to Global Boarding API (GBAPI).

### Poynt and Newland standalone options 
For MSP US, Direct Bill US, MSP CA, and Direct Bill CA, the following products are now available as standalone on the POS tab for **all industries**: 
 - N910 - Newland 910
 - P61V2 - Poynt V2 
 - PYT5 - Poynt 5 terminal
 - N910C - Newland 910 Canada
 - PV2CA - Poynt V2 Canada

### PINless Debit improvements
- PINless Debit Default Values for FI/USB and Agent - For FI/USB and Agent, when the pricing method is **Enhanced Interchange Plus**, **Interchange Plus**, or **Tiered** and **PINless Debit** is selected, then the PINless Debit % fee and PINless Debit per Transaction fee are defaulted to the current price guide values.

- PINless Debit Changes for MSP US, MSP Fusebox, and Enterprise - For MSP US, MSP Fusebox, and Enterprise, PINless Debit Pricing now applies to each debit network. Both the **Per Auth** and **% Fee** fields default to current price guide values and cannot be changed. The **Per Transaction Fee** field also has a default value based on the current price guide, but this value can be changed in the UI.

### New BOTW Banker Assisted offers
For Bank of the West (BOTW) Banker Assisted, three new product offers are now available:
- Free Mobile
- Surcharge with Terminal
- Surcharge with Mobile

### ING DESK 3500 with WiFi
For MSP US, **ING DESK 3500 with WiFi** has been added to the POS tab under Ingenico. It is Safe-T compatible but not required. When **ING Desk 3500 with WiFi** is selected, then **Desk 1500** (D1500) is available as a related product.

### New VAR: Core Commerce 
For FI/USB, Agent, MSP US, and Enterprise, **Core Commerce VAR** has been added to the VAR tab of the product catalog in the Point of Sale section of the eBoarding sales UI.


## R48.1 - March 8, 2022 

### talech Cash Drawer now compatible with Elo hardware
The product, **talech Cash Drawer** (US: TALCD, Canada: C1CAN) is now available for Elo hardware.

### New sub-MCC 5912F available in Canada 
For all Canadian jurisdictions, a new sub-merchant category code, MCC 5912F has been added called Canada Cannabis Analytical Testing and Research.

### New Canadian requirements for cannabis/hemp compliance 
For Canadian Business-to-Business (B2B) customers, a new field has been added: "What percentage of the business revenue is derived from Canadian Cannabis/Hemp Companies?" This field has been added to be compliant with EFCC requirements.


## R48 - February 8, 2022

### Scoop Direct (Direct Bill) improvements
1. Security Update: Reveal Only Last 4 Digits of Billing Account - For Scoop Direct US and Scoop Direct Canada, only the last 4 digits of the billing account number will now be shown on the merchant application PDF.

2. Updated format for Card Acceptance and Pricing section - For Scoop Direct US and Scoop Direct Canada, the text has been updated in the Card Acceptance and Pricing section. It now displays two card groups, **Visa/MC/Discover/Union Pay** and **American Express**, with the **Rate** and **Per Item** fields both set to current pricing guide values.

### Costco improvements
1. Membership Type Obtained from Costco API - For both Costco US and Costco Canada, the **Costco Membership Type** is now populated with the correct value (**Executive** or **Non-Executive**) from the Costco API when a valid active Costco Membership number is provided. Applicants can no longer change this value once it’s filled by the Costco API.

2. Costco membership type added to PDF - For both Costco US and Costco Canada, the applicant's **Costco Membership Type** has been added to the Merchant Agreement PDF right below the Costco Membership account number in the "Other Company Information" section.

3. Costco Self-Board Rates - For Costco US Self-Board, the **Qualified** rate and **Rewards** rate have been updated to match the current price guide.

### Pricing plan changes (C&S, BAY)
1. "Clear and Simple" pricing plan renamed "Built Around You" - For FI/USB, MSP US, MSP Fusebox Partner, Agent, and Costco US, the pricing plan formerly known as "Clear and Simple" has been renamed "Built Around You."

2. "Clear and Simple" plans removed - "Clear and Simple" plans have been removed from FI/USB, MSP US, MSP Fusebox Partner, Agent, and Costco US jurisdictions.

3. "BAY 260&10" plan now available - For FI/USB and Agent, pricing plan C&SE 260&10 (BAY) has been renamed **BAY 260&10**. BAY 260&10 has been added as a new pricing method for MSP US and MSP Fusebox Partner.

4. New "Built Around You" (BAY) plans added - New "Built Around You" Plans have been added for FI/USB, MSP US, MSP Fusebox Partner, Agent, and Costco US.

### talech Link 2500v2 
For FI/USB, Costco US, Agent, MSP US, and Direct Bill US, **talech Link 2500v2** has been added to the ePOS tab of the product catalog in the Point of Sale section whenever TALMO, TC001, TC003, or TC007 is selected. However, this product is currently hidden in the UI until it's ready for sale.

### New fee for Enterprise: Choice QV support fee
Enterprise Channel has a new miscellaneous fee option called **Choice QV Program Support Fee**. 

### Athena embedded updates
1. "Leasing Equipment" Phrase Removed from the Merchant Application PDF - For Athena Embedded, the phrase, "including when leasing equipment," has been removed from the first paragraph of the Company Representations and Certifications section of the merchant application.

2. Updated fee percentages and MPPs - For Athena Embedded, the default values for % Fees of **Card Swiped** and **Key Entered** have been updated to remain consistent with current pricing.

3. In the Pricing section, MPP 29067 has been changed to **MPP 29169** and MPP 29068 has been changed to **MPP 29170**.

### Canadian Code of Conduct changes 
For MSP Canada, Canada Direct, Canada Costco, and Scoop Direct Canada, the Canadian Code of Conduct Disclosure Form has been updated with new fee rates to remain consistent with currently approved pricing.

### Desk 1500 package removed from MSP Canada
For MSP Canada, Desk 1500 Package (D5ECP) has been removed from the product catalog of the Point of Sale section.

### Costco Canada improvements
1. Updated Fees based on Costco Membership Type - For Costco Canada, the **Statement Fee** and **Application Fee** now have default values based on Costco Membership Type. These fees generally only apply to **Non-Executive** members. Default fee values have been updated according to the pricing guide.

2. Miscellaneous fees updated - For Costco Canada, the default values for three miscellaneous fees have been changed based on the Settlement Currency selected in the Customer Information section. Default fee values have been updated to be consistent with current price guides.
