Simplify-Generated Messages for On-Device SAF

If On-Device SAF is enabled, the following set of Simplify-generated messages will be used for offline transactions and SAF processing.

Note: Simplify-Generated Messages beginning with “*SLR SAF” are only used when On-Device SAF is enabled.

Transactions Processed Offline

The following table shows messages used in processing POS transaction requests that could not be processed online. These messages fall into the following categories:

  • Local approvals and local declines – Simplify processed an offline transaction by Stand-in (part of the On-Device SAF feature) and approved or declined it. These transactions are written to the SAF database.

  • Other offline declines – An offline transaction was not SAF-eligible or could not be written to the SAF database. These transactions are declined and not written to the SAF database.

  • Card expired – A card has expired since the original transaction was processed offline.
