July 2022 R50 Release Notes

The R50 release on July 26, 2022 includes:

North America (NA) Updates

DBA Added to Application Notification Email

Email notification that is sent to the applicant after applying now has an updated subject line that includes the DBA: “Your application for <DBA Name> Has Been Accepted.” This only applies to Guided Flow.

Business Website URL Requirement

For North American jurisdictions, the Business Website URL is now required when any internet card acceptance (Internet or Omni Commerce) has been indicated.

U.S. Updates

New Ownership Attributes for Converge New Generation

Converge New Generation (CNVNG) has two new Ownership attributes: Purchase and Own (Existing).

Product Changes

Talech Barcode Scanner USB 2-D Zebra Renamed

The equipment, Talech Barcode Scanner USB 2-D Zebra DS8178 has been renamed talech Zebra 2D USB Barcode Scanner (TLBS2). The item code hasn’t changed; only the product name has been updated.

Talech Cash Drawer Renamed

The equipment, Talech Cash Drawer has been renamed talech 16x16 Cash Drawer (TALCD). The item code hasn’t changed; only the product name has been updated.

Talech Wired Kitchen Printer Renamed, Rental Option Added

The equipment, Talech Wired Kitchen Printer has been renamed talech Star Micronics SP700 Wired Kitchen Printer (TALKP). The item code hasn’t changed; only the product name has been updated. Also, this equipment is now able to be rented by selecting “Rental” in the Ownership field.

Star TSP654 Printer Renamed, Rental Option Added

The equipment, Star TSP654 Printer has been renamed Star TSP654 USB Printer. Also, this equipment is now able to be rented by selecting “Rental” in the Ownership field.

Star 143 Printer for Rent

The equipment, Star 143 Printer can now be rented by selecting “Rental” in the Ownership field.

Canada Updates

Product Change: Bell Micro SIM Replaced by Bell Nano SIM

For Canadian users, the Bell Micro 250 MB SIM Card has been replaced by the Bell Nano 250 MB SIM Card (item code: B250S).

Resolved Issues

Applicants Can No Longer Submit/Sign Application Twice

An issue has been fixed so that applicants can no longer sign and submit the same application twice.
