November 2021 R47 Release Notes
The R47 release on November 9, 2021 includes:
North America (NA) Updates
1. 3DS Updates
For FI/USB, Costco US, Costco Canada, Canada Direct, MSP US, MSP Canada, and Enterprise the following updates have been made to the 3D Secure STD Per Item field associated with 3D Secure Value Added Services (VAS):
Minimum and maximum values have been eliminated. Users are also allowed to input “0.”
For FI/USB, Costco US, Costco Canada, and Canada Direct the default value has been changed according to the current pricing guide, and the 3DS STD Per Item field can be updated as needed.
For MSP US, MSP Canada, Agent, and Enterprise, there is no default value and the field can be updated.
2. Customer Service Information for Payment Facilitator
For Scoop US and Scoop Canada, a customer service phone number and web address can now be added to the application in the Financial Information section of the UI.
3. Help Text Added to Connection Type
For all users, help text has been added to define connection types, IP, WiFi, and Wireless within the Point of Sale section of the UI.
4. New Merchant Category Codes
Three new Merchant Category Codes (MCCs) have been added for all North American jurisdictions in the eBoarding UI:
- MCC 5815 – Digital Goods: Media
- MCC 5816 – Digital Goods: Games
- MCC 5817 – Digital Goods: Applications
5. OCT Straight Send and On Demand Fields Hidden
OCT Straight Send and On Demand have been hidden from the Bank Account section in the UI.
6. Fanfare VAS Removed
Fanfare VAS has been removed from the Value Added Services section in the UI.
U.S. Updates
1. Safe-T Solo Added
For Scoop US, Safe-T Solo (SMB) has been added as a Safe-T services option with a default fee value corresponding to the pricing catalog.
2. Business Debit Added
For Costco US, Business Debit % Fee and Business Debit Per Transaction Fee have been added to the UI and to the Merchant Application PDF for PIN Debit and PINless Debit.
3. Athena Updates
For all Athena users, wording under the Company Representations and Certifications section of the merchant application has been updated, and Payments Insider links are now functional.
For Athena embedded users, when selecting a P2PE bundle, the PCI P2PE Annual fee defaults to $0 and cannot be modified.
For Athena non-embedded users, for all 5 Lane/3000 bundles, the GW Terminal Installment Fee is calculated at a rate of quantity multiplied by 12. This field cannot be modified and appears in the UI and PDF for display purposes only.
For Athena non-embedded users, for all 3 Lane/3000 with P2PE bundles, the GW Terminal Installment Fee is calculated at a rate of quantity multiplied by 8. This field cannot be modified and appears in the UI and PDF for display purposes only.
4. Qualified Rates for Fixed Pricing Method Adjusted
For Costco US, the Qualified Rates for Fixed Pricing Method have new default values corresponding to the current pricing guide for the categories of Retail, Moto, and Internet.
5. Miscellaneous Fees Updates
For MSP US and MSP Fusebox, the default amounts for miscellaneous fees, Voice Authorization with AVS and Voice Operator Assisted have been updated according to the current pricing guide.
6. Pricing Program for Union Banker Assisted
For Union Banker Assisted, the Monetary Pricing Program (MPP) has been changed to 29300.
7. Product Offer Change for Bank of the West Banker Assisted
For Bank of the West Banker Assisted, the Move 5000 Offer has been changed to Traditional Terminal Offer.
Canada Updates
1. RAP Products Updated
For MSP Canada, RAP products have undergone several updates including:
Product name changes:
- M50RC is now INGMOVE5000 CAN RENT CAP
- M5BRC is now INGMOVE5000 PKG CAN RENT CAP
More associated products made available:
- D150C has been added as a related product to D5ERC
- SIM cards have been added as related products to M5BRC: BLSIM, RGSIM, TLSIM, T250S, RSIMM, and BSIMM
Connection types updated, and
Safe-T compatibility updated.
2. Contactless Removed
For Canadian users, Contactless under PIN Debit is no longer an available option when U.S. funding has been indicated.
Resolved Issues
1. PCI Plus Now Appears in the Correct Place
For FI/USB, Agent and MSP, PCI Plus no longer appears in the Miscellaneous Fees section and now appears correctly in the Security Program field.
2. Missing Security Programs Resolved
An issue that was causing security programs to not appear in the UI has been resolved. However, in order to ensure that security programs will appear correctly in the eBoarding UI, please clear your cache.
Helpful Hints for Sales Agents
The eBoarding team recommends that every sales agent clear their eBoarding UI (SAT/ID) cache after every major release. This can help prevent outdated, incorrect screens from appearing.
Steps for clearing the SAT/ID (eBoarding UI) cache:
- Log into the Sales UI.
- Select your username in the top right-hand side of the screen.
- Select Preferences.
- Select Clear SAT Cache.
